Yemeni Samr Honey is classified as one of the most powerful therapeutic types of honey and among the most nutritionally valuable. It holds a prestigious position among honey experts due to its unique biological properties.
From the depths of the historic Yemeni valleys, bees produce this honey from the nectar of Samr trees (Acacia/Talh), which grow in the harsh desert and among rocky mountains, offering you an authentic Yemeni elixir that combines therapeutic strength with a bold, distinctive taste.

Properties and Benefits:
Thanks to its composition rich in iron compounds, Samr honey is considered a “friend of the liver” and a primary supporter of blood regeneration, offering exceptional benefits:
- Supports liver function:
Considered one of the best types for improving liver performance and helping cleanse toxins naturally and safely. - Helps combat anemia:
Due to its high iron content, it is an ideal choice for increasing hemoglobin levels and addressing nutritional deficiencies. - Suitable for diabetics:
Thanks to its specific sugar composition (high in fructose), it is considered a preferable option for moderate sweetening, as it does not cause sharp spikes in blood sugar like other types. - Supports digestive health:
Highly effective in addressing stomach ulcers and intestinal inflammation, and helps relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome thanks to its soothing and cleansing properties. - General bone support:
Contributes to strengthening bone structure and reducing joint pain, making it a valuable supplement for the elderly and athletes.
🌳 About Samr Trees and Harvest Seasons
Samr trees (also known as Talh) grow in dry desert environments and rugged mountain valleys. These are strong, thorny trees that can withstand extreme weather conditions.
Regions such as Hadramaut, Abyan, and parts of Shabwah are known for producing the finest Samr honey.
These trees bloom in the spring, and in our apiaries we await the main harvest period in April (4) and May (5) each year to ensure a pure harvest that reflects the strength of the desert and the energy of the mountains.
📍 Our Own Apiaries
Our apiaries are located deep in Wadi Doan, carefully distributed in the Khayla Baqshan area — the heart of the right side of the valley — as well as in the regions of Saif and Tolbah, which form its historic northern gateway.
By following traditional harvesting methods, we ensure that the honey reaches you in its raw form without any heat processing or chemical treatment, preserving it as a natural treasure rich in active enzymes exactly as intended by nature.
🥄 Recommended Use:
For maximum therapeutic benefit:
Dissolve a medium spoon of Samr honey in a glass of lukewarm water and take it in the morning on an empty stomach to prepare the digestive system, and before sleep to support the body’s natural recovery processes.
It is also recommended as a healthy daily alternative for sweetening both hot and cold beverages.
